Argentina´s borders remain open to international visitors coming to enjoy our summer.

As detailed in our previous blog post, in order to enter the country visitors must:

· Be able to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, completed at least 14 days before departure for Argentina. 

· Take a PCR test and complete an online sworn statement (hyperlink) within 48 hours prior to beginning their journey to Argentina; and

· Obtain and provide proof of comprehensive insurance providing cover for any treatment costs and quarantine resulting from testing positive for COVID-19 while in the country.

We recommend that you bring copies of all of the above documents with you when travelling to Argentina, in case you are asked to present them by immigration control.

Some guests may also be contacted by the Province of Neuquen and asked to take a PCR test 5-7 days after their arrival in the country. If you are required to take this second PCR test we will organise your test for you, which can be administered by a healthcare professional either at Tipiliuke for a fee or for free at the local lab, which is a short 30 minute drive from the lodge in San Martin de Los Andes.

Separately, we are also aware that from 6 December onwards our visitors from the U.S. are now required to take a viral test at any time on the day before they fly home from Argentina (unless you can provide documentation showing that you have recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days prior to your flight). We are again more than happy to assist with organising pre-departure tests, which can be arranged locally.
