OSTEOPATHY
This season Nico, one of our hosts, will once again be available for Osteopathy sessions with guests at the lodge.
Originally from Junín, Buenos Aires province and now living close by in San Martín de los Andes, Nico joined our team last season. He spent 12 years studying and practicing Physiotherapy and Osteopathy in Buenos Aires, before moving to Patagonia to pursue his love of nature and outdoor sports.
Osteopathy is the study of human neurophysiology, anatomy and biomechanics which aims to prevent medical issues arising by treating the body as a whole, rather than targeting specific problem areas. It works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.
Providing bespoke treatments to guests at the lodge, Nico offers an evaluation based on the patient’s medical history, and a tailored treatment through manual manipulation.
